-  Wal-Mart has announced that it will RFID-enable another 500 locations by the end of this fiscal year, bringing the total number to over 1,000.

“We’re aggressively moving forward with the expansion of RFID-enabled facilities”said Rollin Ford, executive vice president and chief information officer for Wal-Mart.
